Week of October 14th - October 17th
1) Discuss STEM and STEM Careers. Introduce PBL unit for 2nd Term. Distribute instructional packets.​
2) Read through handouts together. Discuss answering questions throughout packet as students research their chosen STEM career of interest.
Week 11
Week of October 21st - October 24th
1) Students decide on the STEM career they would like to research.
2) Students may complete questions throughout their packet as they research. Be as detailed and descriptive as you can.
Week 12
Week of October 21st - October 25th
1) Students continue to research and answer questions in their packets.
2) Once students have accumulated all of the research required, follow instructions to begin a Google Slides presentation on their career. See Step-by-Step Instructions in packet.
Week 13
Week of October 27th - October 31st
Students may work on a Google Slide show about their STEM Career. Be sure to type information in complete sentences and provide pictures where needed.

Week of October 27th - October 31st

Week 15
Week of November 3rd - November 7th
Students will complete Google Slides presentation on their chosen STEM Career. Be sure to add transitions and animations to their presentation. Double-check presentation with rubric in packet so that you are sure to have all required information on your slides presentation.
Week 16
Week of November 10th - November 14th
Students will share their Google Slides presentations in class.
Week 17
Week of November 17th - November 21
Distribute Google Slides vocabulary.

Week of November 4th - November 8th
Monday - Show students the PSA we made last week on Voting. Check students for signed iLab handbook and Remind. Pass out Google Docs collaborative assignment. Distribute topics. Begin to work on Google Docs assignment.
Tuesday - Continue to work on Google Docs Fictional Essay.
Wednesday - Complete Google Docs Essay. Proofread & Print. Sign up to read in class.
Thursday - Share Essays with classmates.
Friday - Finish sharing Essays with classmates.

Monday - Tyler and Anny will share their fictional essays with the class. Distribute Google Docs vocabulary. Quiz Thursday. Open notes!

Friday - Distribute Google Slides project - Countdown Google Slides Project entitle "What Makes FPDS Special To Me." Go over directions. Students may begin to work.

1) Students will use the Merge Cube and iLab iPads to go on an AI journey called 57° North. Chapters 1-5.
2) Students will interact with a story and make decisions about which way to go or what steps are to be taken next.
