Week 7
Week of September 23rd - September 27th
We will begin our Digital Citizen unit. Students will discuss Finding a Media Balance in their lives. Students plan out a perfect day and then see how much media they would be consuming. Students will play a board game in which they must make decisions as to whether the spaces they land on containing smart media balance.

Week of September 30th - October 4th
We will continue our Digital Citizen unit. Students will discuss Clickbait and how our curiosity can often times lead us to make poor choices. Students will learn what things to take note when trying to determine if something is real or fake online. Students will look at several scenarios to practice using these tools.

We will continue our Digital Citizen unit. Students will discuss the difference between Cyberbullying and Digital Drama Students will look at a various scenarios and determine if each is a case of cyberbullying or digital drama and how to de-escalate it.
1) Introduce Google Slides unit.
Discuss the many uses for Google Slides.
2) View videos below.
3) Discuss how to open Slides. Go to slides.google.com and log in with your chrome account info.
4) Follow along each video to create a Google Slides presentation.
